Moycullen Parent and Toddler Group
The Moycullen Parent and Toddler Group provides an opportunity for parents who are caring for young children to meet other people in the same position, and to make some new friends. While very rewarding, caring for a baby or toddler is also stressful and challenging, especially if you do not have close family members nearby. The responsibilities of parenthood are daunting, but the friendship and support of others in the group can be a big help.
Play is important for the healthy development of all children. At the Parent and Toddler Group we help to provide play activities and experiences in a warm, friendly environment.
We hope that, with your participation and encouragement, your baby or toddler will enjoy their experiences with us. Children obviously remain the responsibility of the parents or carers during the times that they are attending the group. The group is for the benefit of both parents and children. During the year you can join social activities for parents, like bowling, cinema or an evening out.
Parent and Toddler Group sessions begin at 10.30am on Thursdays during school term in Arus Uilinn in Moycullen Village. There is a fee of €3.00 for each session, to cover the cost of refreshments, rent, insurance, etc.
You are very welcome to take part in the Parent and Toddler Group by dropping in to Arus Uilinn any Thursday morning during school term.
