Because of the success of the 2005 photographic exhibition in Arus Uilinn, Cumann Staire hoped to complement it with a photographic exhibition of Moycullen villagers/families prior to 1960 for Heritage Week 2006. It became apparent that this could not be hurried and it was decided to defer the exhibition until 2007.

Cumann Staire received a Heritage Grant of €350 from Galway County Council towards the cost of the first exhibition.

A submission on behalf of Cumann Staire was sent to the Feasibility Study for Moycullen parish.

Following three years in office, Noreen Ryan (Chairperson) and Anne Casburn (Hon. Secretary) have stepped aside in favour of Mary O’Shea and Miriam McKiernan respectively.
